It has been over a month and a half that I last sat thumping away at the key board. This may appear a long time of silence, but for me it was filled with a lot of apprehension and retrospection. In everyone's life there comes or will come a time when serious introspection is the need of the hour. That time was nigh for me. And after a period of time I realised a lot of things that had earlier come to my mind, but I had tended to avoid taking a decision. And a decision I did take. It was to resign from the school and take up the work that I had started sometime in the month of March. This was a result of the scenario that I had to face. Though some will say that it was a result of my doing. I do not believe so. To be different, I have experienced always raises eyebrows ! All of us have a certain characteristics that we develop through the passage of time, these coupled with one's experience in life make us what we are. However, man is so adept that he changes and adapts to the given circumstances. This is exactly what I had done.
Nonetheless, the rumour mills have had their feed. Some saying this and others saying that.Rumours were as ripe as the mangoes are now in season. All, especially the females, enjoyed every juicy bit of news that they helped to spread and add fuel to the fire. Hope they have increased their weight, not that they needed to add some.Ha ! Ha ! Well, that's the price that one has to pay for being popularly unpopular.
Anyhow, after working for more than five years, I feel nice about the change. One is one's own master. Work is scheduled according to your conveyance. It is a nice change to be working from the home.
The change can be reflected in the accompanying sketch which does go well with the weather. The visual has beautifully drawn lines, pretty well balanced as far as the perspective view of the doodle is concerned. Have a good look and get the feel of the image so vividly drawn by the artist, one Prabhat from Class X A (2010/2011 batch). A nice way to relax during the monsoons after a nice drenching in the rains. Talking about rains........... Till next time, chin up, soldier !
