The Day the Sun Went Down

The day 28th will 4ever be etched in my grey cells for the rest of my life. I was woken up by a call which brought news: news which raised my blood  high. Very high, indeed Someone, very very close was no more. . . . .No More ! Someone who had rocked me in my cradle; someone who actually brought me up. Imagine losing such a loved one ! My mind dwells on life and death which are a part and parcel of life. Death is the inevitable truth of life. It is the greatest comforter. . . Though the living are left to suffer the pain of seperation from a loved one. I am sitting here thumping at the keyboard, but the mind still dwells on death . . .
The following quotation comes to my mind:
For death is but a passing phase of Life;
A change of dress, a disrobing;
A birth into the unborn again;
A commencing where we ended;
A starting where we stopped to rest;
A crossroad of Eternity;
A giving up of something, to possess all things.
The end of the unreal, the beginning of the real.
In life we are actually living in borrowed clothes as the soul needs no cover. This doodle says the truth ! A contribution from a regular contributor, Maaz, Class X.
Let me end on this note:
Time
Like a petal in the wind
Flows softly by
As old lives are taken
New ones begin
A continual chain
Which lasts throughout eternity
Every life but a minute in time
But each of equal importance
